Quick checks before opening a ticket
- Why is the rustchad bot offline?
- Check that the bot is still a member of your Discord server and that the connected Rust server is shown in your dashboard. A reconnect can take a short moment after maintenance or a Rust server restart.
- Why does Rust+ pairing fail?
- Keep the pairing page open, complete the Steam step through the rustchad Companion extension, then use Pair with Server from Rust's Rust+ menu before the timer expires.
- Why did an alert not arrive in Discord?
- Confirm that the event is enabled in Notifications and that rustchad can view the selected Discord server and send messages in its event channel.
- Why do tracked-player updates stop?
- Live online/offline tracking comes from the rustchad Companion extension reading the public player list on your Rust server's BattleMetrics page. Keep that specific server page open in a browser tab; it can stay in the background, but closing it stops updates until you open it again.
Leave this server page open. The small panel in the bottom-right confirms that the extension is reporting live presence.
- Can I give my teammates their own dashboard login?
- Premium accounts can invite mates as team seats from Settings - they get full dashboard access except adding, editing, or removing Rust servers and Discord servers, and billing, which stay with the account owner.
- Where can I get help with billing or account access?
- Email [email protected] from the address on your account. Do not post billing details, login links, passwords, or tokens in Discord.
