How the connection works

Place a Smart Alarm in Rust
Wire it up through the in-game Rust+ menu like normal, and give it a clear name - "Front Door", "Loot Room", whatever you'll recognize later.

Pair your server with rustchad
Once your Rust+ server is paired, every Smart Alarm on it shows up automatically - nothing to register manually.

Pick a channel (and role)
Choose which Discord channel gets the alert. Premium adds mentioning a specific role instead of relying on someone watching the channel.

How many Smart Alarms can I connect?: Free covers 1 smart device per server. Premium raises that to 15, shared between alarms and switches.
Can I mention a specific role, or just everyone?: Each alarm can be set to mention everyone. Mentioning one specific Discord role instead is a Premium feature.
Does this replace the in-game Rust+ alarm notification?: No, it runs alongside it. You'll still see the in-game alert; rustchad adds the same trigger to Discord so it's not easy to miss.
